What changes in each version.
Newest first. Grimorio shows this same list the first time you open a new version after updating, and whenever you like in Settings → «acerca de» (about) → «novedades» (what's new). Each version's downloads are on GitHub, and how everything works is in the manual.
0.1.5
- Linked folders, as nodes. The library menu opens a new view: your library on the left, with the folder on disk where it lives, and each linked folder on the right, joined by a line along which whatever comes in runs. When something new arrives, its line pulses. From there you connect a new folder (the «+» node) or disconnect one (its ×); whatever already came in stays. A folder that isn't there, like one on a disconnected drive, is dimmed and starts working again on its own when it's back.
- «Vincular» (link) instead of «vigilar» (watch). Same as before —whatever shows up in that folder comes into the library on its own— with a name that says better what it does. In the folder tree, a linked folder has a chain link; clicking it opens the nodes view.
- Rename the library. «Renombrar esta biblioteca…» (rename this library) in the menu of its name. It changes the name you see, not the folder on disk, so nothing that points to it breaks.
- What's new, after updating. The first time you open a new version, Grimorio shows this same list. To see it again: Settings → «acerca de» (about) → «novedades» (what's new).
- A clearer Windows portable version. Opening the zip shows only
Grimorio.exe, aLEEME.txt(read me) and theprogramafolder, instead of two hundred loose files.
0.1.4
- Update from inside. «Actualizar ahora» (update now) downloads the new version, checks that it's exactly the published one and installs it; Grimorio closes and reopens on its own, with your library. On Windows with the installer, and on Linux if the program's folder is yours; otherwise it opens the downloads page.
- A new-version notice you can see. A colored pill in the bottom bar, a dot on the gear and a card at the very top of Settings.
- Settings, at the top left. The gear now sits next to the library name, and it's a bit bigger.
0.1.3
- A library that isn't there no longer leaves you without a window. If the library being opened can't be found (an unmounted drive, a moved folder), Grimorio opens the last one you used, or creates one in Documents, and tells you which one it couldn't find. Before, it closed without a word.
0.1.2
- «Sin funciones de IA» (no AI features) in the about panel, which is what's promised: the application has no AI features.
0.1.1
- New-version notice. Once a day Grimorio asks its website for the latest version, without sending anything about you, and lets you know if there's a new one. You can turn it off in Settings.
0.1.0
- The first published version: a visual library for Linux and Windows with images, video, sound, PDFs and 3D models in a folder of your own; tags, folders, dynamic folders, search by text, color and date, and a viewer for each kind of file.
